Comments:
I spent most of my time tuning around and answering CQs. It was hard to find a
clear spot anywhere below 1900 kHz. I thought condx were not so hot on Friday. I
was greeted by some horrendous noise that started at sunset and made copy of the
far west impossible. It was 59+20 on my NW beverage and pretty loud on the
adjacent wires as well. On Saturday night, the noise was still there. I did try
CQing but only found a clear spot way up in the band at 1974 kHz. Any higher and
I would have been almost on 80 meters. I actually worked a few stations there,
110 to be exact in about 40 minutes. No exotic DX worked, but I had fun working
stations on SSB. I did manage to work about all of the ZM family.
