Comments:
if you forget to book your own frequency and don't have a Tsunami amplifier is
impossible to fight with most of the stations in Europe.
in this contest with only 1 band organizers should not allow to use SO2R and
inband. all big guns don't give space to normal stations to find a spot to
operate and compete regularly.
Last October i build a 36mt vertical, but few weeks ago strong winds broken few
top elements. Did't have the time for fix and prepare the beverages.
so i made a L vertical dipole hanging for the tower. I started this contest only
to check how the antenna was performing without any RX antennas. NO remote
assistance too.
This was the opportunity to use the ANAN 7000 in a full contest operation.
The first night was great. i started in s&p mode. had few good run and get a
couple of NA stations. After the first night i made the same qso number of last
year.
So i was happy to continue , the second night was impossible to find sport to
Run so i had to S&P most of the time, but i get more US stations especially
close to the sunrise.
Last night was also mostly S&P all the short run was very difficult due to
all the RF in the air.
not having RX antennas in this king of band/contest is not a great idea, but i
was lucky to use the anan 7000 that gave me huge help thankfully to the great
selectivity and sensibility.
Thanks to everyone for the qso. see you in next contest.
