14 hours of this was Low Power. Then Saturday night around 02Z, after nothing
doing with CQing and no EU station hearing me on S & P, I decided to kick on
the linear just to see what was possible. I ran through EU sunrise adding a
total of 12 additional EU Qs. That's it.
Essentially, for Low Power, Friday night was bad to EU and Saturday was worse.
You can only do well from W1 in this contest when EU is reasonable. We are too
far from much of the US and don't share enough darkness later in the morning
both days.
Still had fun, despite the way less than hoped for low sunspot cycle conditions.
ARRL DX was wonderful. The 2 160M contests this year were unfortunately not.
Oh well, there is always another 2 years to look for a good in the low sunspot
cycle. Such is Top Band.
