Last year we (Rens-PA3FGA and Aurelio-PC5A) participated in this contest from
HB0 for the first time. The fun we had then motivated us to come again this
year. This was also not going to be a serious effort but a "just for
fun" activity with possible antenna repairs; a storm during Xmas damaged
the 30/40M rotary dipole which looks like a V-beam... Also the 160M INV-L broke
completely.

The journey on Friday from the Netherlands to the Principality of Liechtenstein
was long due to to heavy traffic and we were too tired to start the contest and
decided to take a rest first.

Saturday around noon we were ready to start and Silvio-HB9LCW took the first
shift on 20M assisted by Waldemar HB0WR. 15M did not really open, worked only 3
stations (K4TCG, K3LR, W1KM). We stayed on 20M until 19Z, then went to our
rented apartment for dinner. We returned around 22:30Z and started on 40M. Yes,
the pile-ups were huge which resulted in lower than expected rates. Still it was
fun :-). During the night we moved to 80 and 160M and were amazed by the
stations we could hear on the FD5; 3 stations from TX made it into our log.
Cannot say we missed some RX antennas. At 04Z we stopped until 14Z. We again
tried 15M and yes, it was somewhat open! WX0B was the furthest away with
8000+km. After about 45min the fun was over and we moved to 20M, needing only WY
and NE to complete all the US states. Within 5 minutes we worked KV0I (NE) and
KA7PNH (WY) :-). On 40M we missed only SD for full US sweep. With every '0' who
called us we hoped for the SD exchange. Finally just before 23Z KT0A called us..
Two bands with all US states.

At contest end we stopped with almost 1800 QSO's, almost 800 more than in 2019
in 19 hours of activity. This year the excitement continues because we recorded
the audio of most part of the contest.

Best 73
Aurelio, Claudia, Rens, Silvio, Waldemar
