Comments:
20 was pretty good, but I could hear guys running strong stations (Like I do on
80 in the morning and evening). Glad to put EA8OM and F6HKA in the log along
whtih KH6AQ. Band was open to the west, but I soon ran out of stations who were
strong. Went to 40 at 1923Z, Good rate, but gaps and a phone call from the
gutter company, part of my plan to have minimal maintenance for my wife and
sons. Worked DL3DXX at 19:48 - that's mid-day! Pretty good coverage of the USA
and maybe it should have been a 40 meter only session, but only 6 who were not
mults when I got them again on 40. It was amazing how weak N3JT and K3WW were
compared to the morning session.
The snow started and by the end of the hour the yard was completely covered.
