Comments:
I was in San Antonio with 3 tables at the Hamfest for 2 days and didn't get back
home until almost sundown Saturday evening. However, I was able to get on the
air (even though my day began before 4:30AM). I knew that I had 2 problems -
1) I could only operate about 2 hours and
2) I just installed a compromised vertical on the ground with only 5 radials
(10, 15,20,40 & 80) plus a ground rod.
Accordingly, I did all S&P.
Regardless, I HAD FUN! 40M was already shutting down, but I was delighted with
80M. Incredibly, that is my worst band with the vertical, with only about a
30KHz bandwidth, which however is centered around 3540.
