Working from the apartment again for this contest. Started out slow with the mag
loop on 15/20m. The mag loop is pretty pathetic to be honest. I tried out a new
antenna once the sun set, a 40ft wire thrown out my 3rd floor window down
towards the ground, with a counterpoise grounded to a copper radiator pipe in my
apartment. While end feds are really crappy, it was far better than anything I
have done on 80/40 within the apartment itself. Had lots of fun, even working WA
and CA on 80m using that antenna. Just sad that I didn't get 200 qsos.
