Comments:
I've operated QRP CW since 1969, and this was my first ever SS Phone using QRP
(a Ham Radio Bucket List thing to cross off now). It was, well, interesting.
40M certainly is a small sandbox to play in during the late afternoon and
evening. Also, that was a nice opening on 15M although it was short-lived with
QSB up here in Maine. My antenna is an 80M EFHW, attached to a 40 foot tower
and drooping down to about 25 feet to help with wind and snow and ice loading.
Thanks to the FB ops who were willing to stick with me and make the exchange
when my signal was weak on their end.
