Comments:
Mults include six activated grids.
Saturday was largely worthless due to many equipment problems: fancy new remote
xverter switch didn't work, speaker and headphone jacks on 6m radio broke,
periodically high SWR on 6m moxon, deaf 23cm xverter, bad power cable on backup
23cm xverter, high SWR on 13cm antenna, misconfigured 9cm xverter resulting in
wrong offset frequency. We were able to replace the 6m radio and fix the power
cable on the 23cm xverter overnight but everything else stayed broken.
With working radios on 6m through 23cm, Sunday went much better. We doubled our
contacts on the first stop. We made so many contacts at our second stop we
ended up being quite a bit behind schedule and skipped our stop in FN41.
Somehow, we ended up with a pretty respectable score.
Thanks to all the stations we were able to run the bands with, whether that was
the bottom four or the whole six. That really made a difference. We expect to
be up on eight bands for real in January.
