Started at 0119Z; QRT at 0330Z; took some few-minute breaks for fixing up N1MM
messages, for fixing up typing errors, and for mental health.
My only MD QSO was N3QE (worked on all three bands). In the 25 minutes between
my first and second QSOs with him I made 23 QSOs and he made 31. With N9RV, in
the 34 minutes between first and second QSOs I made 22 QSOs and he made 44.
Lots of keyboarding problems, especially switching between fields -- e.g., Name
gets logged as BILLTX, with blank State. I'm getting pretty good at correcting
in the Log window while CQ is playing. (Maybe I should instead get better at
typing.) One QSO got so garbled in the log that I had to guess what number had
been sent.
I spent a lot of time checking 20M and 40M, hoping for mult's, because that was
more fun than pressing for rate on the next-lower band. I agree with the Big
guns that condx went punk the last 45 minutes. No longer fun, so QRT.
