Comments:
I have mixed feelings at the end of 1-st WW-DIGI-Contest. No more comments about
poor propagation on 15 and 10 m, or DX propagation in all bands.
It was a good decision to allow both FT8 and FT4 as contests modes. I worked
most of EU active contesters in FT4, but I picked up many DX stations (and
multipliers) in FT8 only. From decoding point of view WSJT-X is a great
software, but from operator point of view is not optimized yet. Examples:
switching from contesting mode to non-contesting mode takes too many mouse
clicks, if someone is calling me with a serial number, the software goes
automatically into EU-VHF Contest setup, no provisions to set myself how many
times I am calling a station without reply, etc.
Overall it was a good contest and I am sure that WWROF and SCC will take care of
