Comments:
Just short of 1K QSOs, but some people make a Q, but you can't get a grid from
them..so 25 gridless QSOs got into my log. This contest appears to be scored
fairly. The scoring mnemonic minimizes the effects of lots of little countries
and other old fashioned ideas. 24 hours is about right for the length. This is
a hugely different way to do radio contesting. The kids may like it and nose
around the legacy contests...I hope. The station here and the Op did well.
Nothing blew up or caught fire except for my clicker wrist...Will have to come
up with some other physical act to initiate a QSO on these FT** modes.
This was intense at times but also boring at times...kind of like punching
F1 on 10M this time of the solar cycle. Speaking of which there was precious
little EU to be had from the west coast USA, but it doesn't make that big of a
difference anymore due to the digi rules.
No QSOs on 10M and 8 QSOs on 160M. This will be a more intense contest when
we have 10M and 15M to play with maybe in a few years.
Thanks to the WWROF and the Slovenia Club for brewing this little contest up.
It was a very good way to keep busy for a day!
