40M was surprisingly NOISY; an elevated noise floor from the usual -116dBM to
~=100dBM + unusual Static CRASHES to make it much harder to listen to the weak
signals ... even on my FLEX - which is usually very easy on my ears!!!!! I
finally just gave up with over 1.5 hours of operating time left for me.
