Comments:
Thanks as always to John Evans N3HBX for allowing me to invade the Poolesville
farm for this event. Station worked 100% perfect and really performed.
Tough conditions. When I thought 15 and 10 sucked last year, this year beat it.
Ouch. Very noisy on 80 and 160 although K7RL and I decided to see if we could
make it go on 80 - we did! 40 was a workhorse but went very long early. Didn't
work a single W2 until about 0200z.
That being said, had my best first hour ever at 171 the first hour. Wish it
would have stayed that good!
Tnx for all the QSOs, the moves, and your sympathy when I make my trip to the
audiologist because of this contest....
