Comments:
First time I've put in the full 10 hours in a number of years. I had a rate of
100/hr for the first 3 and a half hours when popup thunderstorms and lightning
forced me into my first break. After that the rate slowed down, but was steady
through the whole contest. I decided to keep running so long as the rate was
reasonable and let the mults find me. This worked out well with one radio. I
S&Pd when it was time to change bands. Fifteen was a nice surprise, ten not
so much so. Fifteen was open mainly to the east and southeast for the first hour
or so with a sprinkling of western mults calling in. It was quite noisy here for
most of the afternoon and evening from close in thunderstorms resulting in my
asking for quite a few repeats. Later it was quieter save for 160 which was very
noisy. Activity seemed very good with an endless supply of stations to work, at
least with a single radio. Thanks everyone for getting on.
