Comments:
Was driving home from Oshawa Seniors Centre, nice a/c, and stopped to listen at
Whitby harbour. Heard N0YK booming in off back and front of beam. Then heard
N0LL in EM09 calling cq with no replies, so went to transmit and got him first
try running 10W to a 9 elmt beam. Also heard several in TX, did not try with
them. Later worked FN05, 4 in FN03 including VA3ELE/R and EN93.
Went home happy.
Sunday, drove to FN04 and ran as SOSB 2, see entry on that.
Too hot to be out as a Rover, over 100f including humidex on Saturday.
Looking forward to next year.
Thanks to sponsor and John K9JK ne Director and team.
73,
Bill VE3CRU
