Only 6 and only cw and SSB.
Hey, ARRL, how about a change? How about 3 points for cw contacts, 2 for ssb
and one for FT8? Times whatever band multipliers exist. Might entice more folks
to try these "legacy" modes.
Interesting contest. Band would be completely dead then a solid signal from the
west coast would come in. Work them and usually, shortly after that, they'd fade
away.
Worked several CN, DN and DM grids along with a solid single hop opening to the
midwest.
Interesting enough prop to make it a fun contest.
Thanks to all the rovers out there. Amazing signals from the ones I worked. All
were out west roaming the wide open spaces. Great job all!
Equipment:
K3
Quadra amp for 6
6 element homebrew beam at 115'
N1MM+ (still, I believe, by far some of the best software out there for
contesting!)
ARRL, thanks for putting the contest on!
