Comments:
The first real try to run SO2R.
I solved a lot of interferences problems on signal cables and on second
antennas. I was surprised, how many signal cables inside the tower body was the
part of my 160m vertical. Resonant frequency moved from 1850 to up to 2000 kHz
after installing of set of low-pass filters!
I have only 2 Inv Vees (20m and 40m) for 2nd radio and only IC-706 MkII of 100
W, but in CW contest it works! I was surprised, that I was quite succesfull in
doing QSOs on 2nd radio. It helped to hold rates during deaf minutes on run
frequency.
Conditions were interesting, especialy strange openings of 15m and especially on
10m. I was doing the whole EU, regardless on the antenna beaming... Low bands
was full of "summer" noise, but I had nice NA run on 80m.
The result is my personal WPX CW record, but is necessary to wait - the first
view into RAW scores will give the answer, if I will go up in total rank
compared to the past.
Thank so much to all, who are making this contest so big passion!
