Comments:
I had the strangest thing happen with N1MM+. About 3rd or 4th Q into the
contest, N1MM started dropping the 3rd character after the number in the
callsign, even though it was correct in the entry window. I completed the QSO,
and N1MM repeated the callsign correctly as though I'd edited it, but I had not.
I did a cold boot of the PC and software, a warm boot of the software and no
joy. It was such a nuisance that after 38 Qs, I stopped to troubleshoot.
The short answer is that there was a space in the F5 function key (HIS CALL)
definition in between the comma and the ! (representing his callsign). I removed
the space and it went back to normal. Totally weird! I lost 16 minutes looking
for the fix and didn't even break 100Qs. Still, lots of fun to work good CW
ops..
