Comments:
This contest was the first real test of my new BigIR antenna. I, and 1KW worked
quite well at actually making contacts, unlike my previous QRP and low power
efforts.
It was nice to see some activity on 10M, and I managed QSOs with Canada, US, and
Hawaii.
I ran Friday night until I collapsed in bed at 0600z. I operated for about an
hour starting at 1100z and made QSOs with a number of JAs and a scattering of
VK, ZF, UA2, VE, and HL on 40M.
Saturday, I had obligations, so I worked the contest in the time between them.
Sunday morning until about 2130z was mostly just NA, and the 2 point contacts
were appreciated. (And we need more XE ops.) After then, I was able to work into
EU for a number of contacts.
We'll see how much of the score survives log checking and my poor CW.
