I've added an amp since the last contest, so I was pushing 130W. That really
seemed to help. I've also been practicing my CW with SOTA, which helped me pull
in N2SLN/P in FN22. I had a laptop with me but did not try FT8. I'd be
interested to know what kind of activity there was.
Besides N2SLN, my best DX was N1BUG in FN55 twice, K1TEO and WZ1V in FN31, and
W1AIM in FN34. Operating from a four grid corner seems to be the best way to
build your score, but I haven't researched the one near me enough. Activity was
slow, but it's not a popular band and I've never done a sprint before so maybe
that's just the way these go.
