Comments:
The Aurora had subsided, but there was still the aftermath.
Started 8 minutes late on 3.5 MHz for a couple of Q's and
then got a Blue Screen, collection of collapse-data and
reboot. A good time to crank the RX up a couple of bands!
Actually with the lengthening days 14 MHz was quite busy,
but only was able to work Alf IT9MUO. At 1920Z I heard
N1LN and W1WEF for a fraction of a minute... Then over
to 7 MHz to log the bulk of contacts with signals from
edge to edge, and also from further away. The SM-path
was still open as well... A quick look on 1.8 MHz gave
nil CWT, a couple of SM's to work on 3.5 MHz. Finally
the last minute on 14 MHz appearing depleted....
With the melting snow the 14 MHz trap of my sloper wire
was bathing in soaked snow, but the SWR stayed surprisingly
stable on all bands through the tuner. Sometimes it jumps...
(not today) ... Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA
