Comments:
This wasn't the easiest CWT for me. Especially at first, signals weren't
extremely strong and I had trouble making contacts. After almost the first
quarter of the contest had passed with my creel still empty, I was wondering if
I'd make ANY contacts. But things got better. Signals I was hearing seemed to
get stronger and more stable and my luck improved.
I wasn't able to make any contacts on 15 or 40. I heard one station on each of
those bands. Heard W2GD on 15, but by the time I tuned up and called him, he was
GOA (gone on arrival)as the police say. Heard N0TA on 40 but he couldn't hear me
when I called him.
All in all, I wasn't unhappy with my showing in this CWT and I'll hope for
better luck next week.
