Comments:
I am now having some bad tooth issues which started Saturday. It has been a
truly miserable winter DX season on 160 from here (very weak EU night after
night), so conditions were a pleasant surprise. That said, there was no magic EU
run to be had for me. I operated until about 0430Z Saturday and spent a good
deal of time below 1810 until the last 90 minutes. Other than no EU, the bottom
of the band was a great place to be for my LP effort. I was called by KH7 at
0259Z which I would assume was well before HI sunset and then was called by 4
WA stations in a row in the next 5 minutes. Domestic mults missed included
NE,SD,MB,PE. So, think I worked 47 states (no AK). Some signals were strong from
EU 03-04Z Sunday, but just did not hear that many and only had a very few EU
callers. FM,P4, HI8, and XE2 called me.
Thanks for the calls and Q's; lots of 2nd,3rd tier USA stations called in.
73, Jeff
