Comments:
Frank Donovan, W3LPL, allowed me to take his station for a spin. He made some
repairs to the transmit four-square and it is much more directional. That did
little good Friday night - I only worked 19 ten-point QSOs Friday night and
several of those were South America or Hawaii.
Saturday night was better - I actually had Europeans answering CQs! :-) I
ended up with 83 10-point QSOs. This definitely wasn't last year - the score is
down by more than a quarter. A station description and lots of statistics
follow.
The hourly rates this time include QSO breakdown by points, showing the poor
conditions to Europe Friday night.
