Comments:
Wow, this night really clicked for me after two "non-clicking" weeks.
Fifteen meters was wide open, with good signals from all over the country. I
seemed to get a lot of the jump balls, and often had someone calling on the
second radio after an SO2R CQ. The only "not great" band for me was
160, where things just sounded strange, with a few loud stations, but I need to
check the antenna for receiving out tomorrow. But very few complaints at all.
Five minute segments, really strong and consistent with one "down"
five minute segment on 40/80. But very good: 13, 11, 11, 11, 6, and 11.
Thanks to two operators for four baggers: K9BGL and K7SV. Thanks to all for a
lot of fun. CU all next week and in the "big sprint" as well.
73, Jim N3BB
