Comments:
I think tough WX in the Northeast kept activity down. We were in the warm part
of the storm until Sunday afternoon. Rain kept the noise level fairly quiet,
but picked up late Sunday when the cold winds started. Hats off to the rovers
that made it out in this one.
All equipment worked with no failures. Good FT8 activity on 6m and 2m here.
Need to figure out a way to pass people to higher bands from the digital modes.
Used Airspy HF+ SDRs on the IF ports of the two K3 to monitor digital modes
while we were working SSB and CW. It worked well. Surprising how many decodes
we got even with interruptions from SSB/CW transmit CQs.
73,
John N2NC for the N2NT VHF crew.
