Comments:
Good casual effort here despite the very bad WX. Heavy snow & near blizzard
condx on Saturday. Rovers all had to cancel Saturday due to heavy snow/ice and
very bad road conditions. SAFETY FIRST!!! Sunday afternoon they were able to get
out to limited routes and grids. Some nice Q's on 2 meter EME Saturday night as
the moon was in a "good position" so that helped the score. 6 meter
condx were not gud. Meteors with MSK-144 and contacts via FT8 helped on 6 meters
however January is always a very, very low 6 meter effort from here in
Arkansas.
Thanks to all for the Q's and also thanks to the local rovers who braved some
extremely cold temps and winter precipitation to pass out a few grids. Hope to
see everyone in June when 6 meters will be hot and so will the temps here with
100 deg heat indexes!!!!!
Next up will be CQWW 160!
