This was for CW practice. I had skipped the CWTs on Wednesday. Besides I know
almost everyone's call there and even their probable frequencies. We're all
creatures of habit and I could likely reuse CWT bandmaps from one week to the
next. So it was better to give the NAQP a whirl and be surprised on occasion.
I was on again, off again during the afternoon and in the evening watched a
movie with my wife as well as all the supplemental material on the DVD plus
discussing what we'd seen. By then I'd squandered some prime early evening
hours.
Still, I got some good practice and meaningful data. My overall QSO rate was
45/hour. That's a good number for me and my alleged antennas. 25% running.
Meh.
No DX. One KP4. VO2AC answered a CQ on 40m. Not DX, not rare, but still exotic
and cold. Brrrrr...
Thanks for the QSOs and for calling me.
