Comments:
It was an honor to use my old friend's call in this event. I know Bob used to
enjoy this contest a great deal.
Hopefully I was able to represent our team and Bob's call well. I'm not as good
on operator as Bob was but I certainly tried to do my best.
Station here is a Ten Tec OMNI VII - 100 watts - to a single antenna, a 40 meter
extended double zepp about 40 feet high in my backyard oak trees. The bands
seemed decent especially the lower 3. I was amazed at how well I did on 160
with a short (176') low horizontal dipole. Just real good conditions I guess.
Thanks for the contacts and the great copying. "Dude" is not an easy
name to copy because it is so unexpected!
