Thanks for the QSOs and Happy New Year.
Forty meters was very good - minimal noise and good propagation. Surprise when
Barry, VK2BJ, called. At first didn't realize Barry's call as I thought - naugh
that can't be VK2B, must be VE2.. Fortunately for me, Barry kept coming back
with his call and finally I realized what I was copying, VK2BJ, actually is the
correct call. That is what happens when you go from a pair of 40 meter Moxons,
one at 140 ft and the other at 70 ft, to a dipole at 25 ft. Dipoles do work! I
knew that at one time, but had forgotten.
