Comments:
Managed to squeeze in 9 hours of BIC despite numerous family activities this
weekend. (Why does this popular contest have to take place the Thanksgiving
weekend???) All operating was S&P and casual.
Began Saturday afternoon on 15m and found it alive mainly thanks to TEP. Ditto
Sunday. Packed with activity: 40m (24 hours) and 20m (daytime). The 80m band was
quite busy at night, although QRN made it difficult Saturday night. The
diminished propagation on 15 and especially 10 meters apparently caused the
crowding on the lower bands. At times 40m was a madhouse. Sunday 20m opened
strongly to JA around 2200Z for about 45 minutes. Interesting propagation at the
bottom of the sunspot cycle!
