Comments:
Got off to a slow start. I thought it was mostly due to poor band conditions.
However, I had just installed a SDR panadapter which if fed from a MFJ T/R
switch. I took the switch out of the signal path to the rig, and signal levels
seemed to get better. I need to do some testing to see if the T/R switch or SDR
antenna input may have an impedance issue, or are affecting RF levels somehow.
So, I did not do as well as last year by over 100 Q's. I also did not use
assistance, which also may have cost a few mults and Q's. It would have been
much worse if 15 hadn't opened up on Sunday. I was told there was an opening on
10, but missed most of it without spotting assistance. See you for PA next
weekend.
