Thanks for the QSOs. They really were appreciated after what happened 10 days
ago.
Wind storm (micro burst) destroyed the tower (130 ft) and all the antennas - 2
homemade Moxons, one at 140 ft and the other at 70 ft; 4 element SteppIR at 132
ft; 80 m inv. vee with apex at 120 ft and ends at 80 ft.
The tower was destroyed when a neighbor's tree was blown over on a set of guy
wires. Until then the tower and antenna seemed to be doing okay in the wind and
rain.
Still, low power (100W) and a 40 m dipole 20 ft high is better than not enjoying
the CWT.
