Comments:
This was painful.
I only heard a handful of stations on 15 meters, but it sounded like the folks
in Texas had a nice opening. The QSB on 20 was nasty, but not really
surprising. 40 ended up being pretty decent for several hours but the static
here on 80 made it really challenging.
As usual, thanks to everybody that pulled my call out of the noise and deep
QSB!
Station:
Yaesu FTDX3000 running 5 watts output
Cycle 24 TX38 triband Yagi at 40' (2 el. on 20, 2 el. on 15)
Rotatable 40 m dipole at 45'
Inverted vee fed with twin lead - apex at 38'
73,
Randy, ND0C
