First contest using my new 4-bander (AD-3446 by UA2FZ) at the full height (ca
29m) - lifted the antenna up on Monday evening before the contest weekend with
the help of other local hams. Compared to all wires - sure it makes the
difference, hi!
Conditions were ok, only rather heavy static from south in the evenings - made
it partly difficult to copy the numbers when the lightning stroke (somewhere far
away, as the local weather has been exceptionally good for ca 3 weeks, a real
summer here!). Glad to claim the new Baltic record on 40m SO unassisted.
CU at WRTC in Germany (visiting as a tourist, hi!)!
