Comments:
Well, that was the tale of two halves for sure. After charging out of the gate
like a couplet and even triplet machine, with lots of second radio contacts and
33 contacts in the first 15 minutes, things hit the good old summer roadblock of
80 and especially 160 here. Managed only one contact on Top Band with ol'
reliable K9BGL. Thanks Karl.
Five minute segments: 10, 11, 12, 8, 9, and (gasp) 3. Good ears awards go to
four bagger ops K9BGL and K8MR and three bagger N4DW, K7SS, NO3M, and W0BH. It
was good to work KG5U and K0NM for rare TX, but both on 80 so only one mult.
Had visions of challenging TY-Pa with a Six in front of the QSO number, but hit
that low band roadblock out here in the wilderness. Missed fellow compatriot
KZ5D who is on family break time.
