Operated from the very modest home station still under construction (moved
recently) K3, KPA500, 3L Cushcraft X7 at 40 ft, palm tree inv vee at 60 ft and
an XYL, family dogs, cranky Computers, 1/3 "High Power" for diversion.
VERY ENJOYABLE as usual - a great way to test the operator and the gear. Gave
myself a C+ (always much to learn), the Elecraft set an A- (I want the
KPA1500!) and the all-I-can-afford Antenna system a B- (XYL controlled
pocketbook but serious plans for the second tower and 40/30 2L at 60ft and an
elevated 160/80 inv L this fall).
