Comments:
Murphy, Murphy, strikes multiple times.
Arrived later than optimum, wind was blowing vigorously. Vibration of the
antenna and collapsible fishing pole caused it to collapse three time during the
40 minute of operation. The last time I ceased and packed up.
Also, I contributed to Murphy because it was sunny, so I put on my polarized
sunglasses. This helped with glare while driving, but made it very hard to read
the screen on the computer. So, I grabbed the quill and papyrus and hand copied
the log.
Then AFTER I packed up, I noticed it was a bit difficult to see what I had
packed into the "go kit" and THEN realized that I was still wearing my
sun glasses. Oh, well, c'est le guerre.
It was interesting. The conditions were so good on 20 that I could barely get
my pipsqueek signal through, because so many folks were "running, running
running," it was hard for me br heard. I did work one fellow with the
antenna on the ground, so he must have had very good ears!
Thanks to those who pulled me through
