Comments:
Put in a little time. S&P except for about 10 minutes when stations called
me. This was not on someone's run frequency - we moved off. Afterwards I heard
a weak Ohio station calling CQ - Oops! Staid on 80 meters. First started on
Saturday night for about an hour and worked a few contacts sporadically on
Sunday. Fired up the old Clipperton-L for a few contacts. Got a report of
choppy audio Sunday afternoon. I did confirm it by listening to my rig using
another receiver. Both were on dummy loads. I think it was a bad connection on
my headset TX audio, because after I unplugged and plugged it in several times I
did not hear the problem. This was reaffirmed with the next couple of
contacts.
