Comments:
Had high hopes that the local power company would come through again and shut
off the BPL noise that wipes out the bands. They promised me for a week, and
then something political happened and they wouldn't do it.
I lost most of my interest, and considered doing single band.
But once activity came, and the bands opened it wasn't so bad. Got off to a good
start, so kept on going. A new short vertical array helped to hear on the low
bands.
Glad I stuck it out, it was a lot of fun practicing dual pileups.
Had a couple of station issues, but nothing major. A stuck relay caused bad QRM
from 40M, and made 2 radio operation hard. finally figured it out on Sunday :)
At least I got some sleep this time!
