Comments:
This was tough going today. I started on 15 but heard no one except for one
really loud station that disappeared in a second. Then I went to 40 and heard
and worked just one station, K4UB. That was at 1904. Next, it was on to 20,
where all the action was.
>From my QTH in the northern Sacramento Valley, I could hear quite a few signals
but they were unusually weak. Fortunately, the band's background noise was very
low, so I could hear many stations clearly. But they couldn't hear me. I was
able to work one station.
Then, it was back to 40 for the last 10 minutes. CQing got me some action, and I
worked a third station.
A lot of work for just 3 Qs, but still, this is among the best ways to spend an
hour. I'm glad the CWT exists.
