Comments:
More WRTC configuration testing, no spotting, passed some mults back and forth
using N1MM+. Mark did all the heavy lifting on the software and hardware side,
I basically provided the antennas, helped cook the food, and hit 'F1' a lot.
Apart from a small audio problem with a K3, everything worked.
We chose the name 'Jack' in honor of former PVRC President and all-around great
guy Jack Hammett, K4VV who passed away this month. RIP OM!
Noise level on 20 meters was S-9 as usual, and Mark got his first experience of
low power phone contesting from the inner city. Sort of a Dorothy moment ...
"Welcome to DC - you're not in Glenwood anymore!" Congrats to the
big scorers including WX3B and N3QE who gave us our MD multiplier on 10-meters
with 2 minutes left.
We also got a few "Run 'Em"s from our pal W4MYA so our weekend was
complete
73,
Ken KE3X and Mark KD4D
