Comments:

I was lured into CQing on 10 for too long after hearing a couple of 7-land
beacons but only worked more CA locals.

I did well on mults on 15 but should have worked more Qs.

20 had great rates for a while but when signal strengths picked up almost
everyone had gone to lower bands. Missed some easy mults but worked 5 ND on 20,
no ND on other bands.

40 was good early but then was really slow until picking up just before the
end.

I had forgotten that our SSB inverted vee for 80 was lengthened for RTTY Roundup
and was still resonant near 3600. Early on 80 was a struggle to work outside of
the western states, both because I kept forgetting to retune the ATU and because
the easterly stations were working others closer to them.

When I first listened on 160 at 0430 I heard a loud K9PG and other midwest
stations. I could hear great on Beverages but the transmit antenna was deaf and
had a high SWR. After wasting time trying to get it to work I decided to take my
last break and tried everything I could including rechecking a coax switch at
the base of the tower. As my break expired I finally looked at the bandpass
filter which had been hidden by a new monitor configuration and realized that it
was in the wrong position. By the time I got on 160 the midwest stations were
gone.

Congrats to K6SRZ for the excellent SO1R score and especially for his 15m QSO
count.

Thanks to all for the Qs and for the few attempted moves (none successful).

73,
-Mike, N7MH
