Comments:
-Medicore showing from this QTH. Halfway into the contest, I had a report of
severe TVI, so I stopped operating. After investigating, I discovered it wasn't
TVI, after all, but was just interference into somebody's TV sound system (which
was connected with unshielded cables). That gives me a project to complete in
order to regain community harmony. Just a hiccup. But, it cost me almost 5
hours of operating time.
So extremely proud of all my teammates in the Deep Dixie Contest Club (DDCC).
We had two teams: Elvis & Magnolia. Since I'm located in Tupelo, MS--the
birthplace of Elvis--we figured that would be a good one. You can count on
seeing that team name used again. Plus, one of the flowers that is prolific
here in the deep South is the sweet magnolia. I'm sure all the Magnolia team
members were smelling sweet during NAQP. Ha!
Visit our club web site -- http://deepdixiecc.org -- and join one of our teams
in the future!
