Comments:
Thanks for the Qs. This is a wonderful contest with so much action. I found
conditions changed quickly. When I started, about 6 Saturday evening, 40 was
hopping and I found it somewhat easy to make contacts. After about an hour, I
decided to try 80. It was great at first. The band wasn't noisy, signals were
strong and stations were easy to contact, in the S&P mode I employed.
Towards the end of the contest, I found a lot fewer stations on both 40 and 80
and a lot more background noise on both bands. Not so happy as at first but
still plenty satisfying!
