Comments:
Starting at 2330Z, the absence of high-band propagation continues. A few more
QSOs than my previous high total, but down in mult's.
Antenna had self-healed from problems in TBDC; neighbor K2PBS had similar
problem with a wire antenna, so probably some effect of the ice in the trees.
Starting on highest open band to grab easy mult's was a bust. 20M was open to
CA and TX. 40M was already long; missed most nearby states on 40M (all W1 and
W2, NC, DE, PA). 80M and 160M were, as mentioned by others, very good. The
local buzzy noise was gone. I even managed to work CA on 160M, which did not
happen in TBDC.
Still hampered by poor typing skills. Talk about logging behind -- at one point
I was two whole QSOs behind as I corrected typing errors in the N1MM+ Log
window. (That is, I kept two whole QSOs in wet-ware memory while fixing the
typo's.)
