Comments:
Since Mike is building a new machine hall where new shack will be, no M/S
this year, so decided to try a single band. Low solar numbers made 40m to be
the choice.
Conditions were good except during night, especially first night when getting
QSOs was a struggle, MUF too low with some Aurora mix.
Missed some normally easy mults during night, since most signals were like
ghoast whispers. Open to JA all day long. NA came LP during afternoon.
The usual ZL/VK/JA lp opening in morning at sunrise both days.
Condition summary: Daytime fine, sounded like 15m with usual QSB on the JA
signals. Too low MUF during night. Sunday last hours best, open to both JA and
NA but as usual not many JA on the band in the end.
One double missed was HC0E. Z34 and Z36 were also missed.
Conditions favoring NE path. Worked almost double numbers of JA in comparison
with NA. Many Chinese stations in log also.
Thanks to all callers and to Mike having station in top trim and serving coffee
:-)
