Comments:
I think this may have been my first attempt at CW SS. Not desiring to be
embarrassed by the big boys of NNJ who always do CW in HP (RQ & NT!), I
opted for LP. Also, looking at posted scores, was there anybody else from NNJ
doing Low Power? I know our ranks are thinning as the years go by, but who's
left around here that does SS?
Nasty band noise to the west both days due to a line of intense storms hitting
the midwest made operating on 40 & 20 less than pleasant - and
"west" is basically the whole enchilada when you're doing SS from New
Joisey.
Final note: was just planning on "fooling around" and didn't plan on
spending as much time as I did, but one does tend to get sucked into the radio,
doesn't one?
