Started on 40. The SteppIR 18e had high SWR. This is becoming the norm and
now, after spending hundreds of dollars, I am at the stage of not recommending
this antenna.
Went to 20. SWR was not prefect, so turned off the amp. Not much activity.
Very low rate and few came back to CQs. After about 30 minutes the rate went
up a bit, but not interesting and nobody seemed strong.
